7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe moved across the country to have our daughter attend Farragut schools. They are some of best schools in the US and have won awards over the years. She is currently in the fifth grade and is on an IEP. She has received excellent support from school counselors and highly trained special education teachers, participated in extracurricular activities, and learned how to be organized and study. Her grades and test scores have skyrocketed and so has her confidence. The general education teachers have communicated with us frequently about her education and behavior and we have always been heard. We volunteer for several activities at the school and the parents can participate in the classroom for science labs. We are impressed by the quality of teachers here- even the music teachers actually have degrees in music! They have police officers posted around the campus and are strict on regulating visitors. The bus driver is reliable and friendly. I was surprised at how many students are at this school- I am used to schools with only three or four teachers for each grade. But they are so structured with their operations that they make it work! We are continually thankful for the education our daughter is receiving at FIS and do not regret the decision to move here for the schools.Parent Review7mo ago - Farragut Primary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to Hardin Valley a few years back and it was a great experience but it has gone downhill. With the new principal and staff my siblings have faced discrimination. Recently I went to the school and encountered a rude office staff. I wasn’t aware one couldn’t bring drinks from the outside and she gave me attitude about it, when I had told her I didn’t know. She proceeded to say “she wasn’t going to allow it” and looked down on me for not knowing. Before office staff were so nice and kind, now everything is changing.Other Review1y ago - Hardin Valley Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is great for students seeking help with their academics. Students are monitored on their Chromebooks and are provided with the resources to step up their grades, with less homework, they get time to spend with their families. One thing that I obscurely dislike is how they block almost every site that's available, it's like they don't want students to learn from others that had the same issues. Overall, I would give this school a 3.5, the Teachers an extremely nice, and students get the opportunity to play instruments and sing.Parent Review11mo ago - Check out schools near 11819 Black Rd.

"We live on the water and we get to see a lot of boats/yachts go by. We are also close to campus so there is still a youthful vibe to the neighborhood. Knoxville has some of the best sunsets around, and being so close to downtown has made it easy to socialize. I would recommend better access to public transportation, but aside from that, this is a lovely place to live."
