He was not challanged and they wanted to keep him in special ed classes regardless of his improvement and test scores. The teacher was lazy and the receptionist at the front desk was burnt-out and very rude. Last year we moved and decided to enroll him at Kennedy Elementary. In one year at Kennedy, he started reading, writing, come to find out was amazing at math,and even scored a 104% on the state math test. I thought it was a miracle! It was not a miracle. It was just teachers doing their job. Kennedy is an amazing school with great faculty and my son loves to wake up in the morning to go to school.Parent Review9y ago

"The only thing I can think of is the road Lewis Lane can sometimes be congested because there is a Walmart and Lowes and a few other shops across the street from the neighborhood. Other than that, it's super nice, clean, and everyone is friendly!"

"Drugs and drug addicts on every corner in Kingsport. Lived in Kingsport for 8 months and in that very short time span, 2 people were killed within a mile radius of me. Made me very uneasy. Moved across state line to VA, and made a huge difference in the community, people, and neighborhoods. Much nicer just across the state line"

"I work downtown. The commute to downtown is only 15 minutes and traffic is light. People typically drive in this area and there is very little public transportation. There are bike lanes downtown and the Greenbelt links up so if you live near the Greenbelt you could ride a bike to work if you work downtown."
