"Friendly place but teach your children about the dangers of the world "catastrophe has no home" don't let it sleep on your doorstep. Most people in kingsport look out for their neighbors without being too nosey or overwhelming overall great place to raise a family, not a lot to do for younger people leaving the area mostly quite and dull"

"Drugs and drug addicts on every corner in Kingsport. Lived in Kingsport for 8 months and in that very short time span, 2 people were killed within a mile radius of me. Made me very uneasy. Moved across state line to VA, and made a huge difference in the community, people, and neighborhoods. Much nicer just across the state line"

"I just move to downtown Kingsport and I love it! The section of town I’m in is clean, folks are nice and there’s a dog park within 3 blocks. Only 2 hour parking during the day though, which stinks. I’m retired so I don’t need to move my car except the city doesn’t make provisions for the loft residences. "
