This is the first year my 3rd grader has attended Johnson Elementary and I find a great ease of mind in her transition. The leadership of the staff, working it's way down from the principal to the teachers, is with good attitude and confident attitudes which makes for a comfortable presentation. I feel welcome to come into the school when I know that issues can be dealt with in a positive manner without feeling guilty that issues occurred. "The only thing I can think of is the road Lewis Lane can sometimes be congested because there is a Walmart and Lowes and a few other shops across the street from the neighborhood. Other than that, it's super nice, clean, and everyone is friendly!"

"Drugs and drug addicts on every corner in Kingsport. Lived in Kingsport for 8 months and in that very short time span, 2 people were killed within a mile radius of me. Made me very uneasy. Moved across state line to VA, and made a huge difference in the community, people, and neighborhoods. Much nicer just across the state line"

"I work downtown. The commute to downtown is only 15 minutes and traffic is light. People typically drive in this area and there is very little public transportation. There are bike lanes downtown and the Greenbelt links up so if you live near the Greenbelt you could ride a bike to work if you work downtown."
