6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageNOT IMPRESSED!!!. It does not seem as though the principle is completely qualified for her job. Maybe she has the proper credentials but it's a well known fact in the area that the only reason she has her job is because her husband and father-in-law are on the school board for the county. Instead of paying qualified special needs teachers ..teachers aids were being used. Where did all that $$ go that was for paying those teachers? I feel as though most of the teachers really care and TRY to do their job but come to dead ends in helping children once it reaches the principle. There are MANY families in the area that have started home schooling their children or have enrolled their child in a different school altogether as I have. On the other hand if your child is a perfectly behaved kid that has no energy to burn and ALWAYS does what they are told and doesn't ask questions about what they are learning and keeps their mouth shut then you shouldn't have any problems with this school. Also the High School is NOT somewhere I would send my child. There has been reports of teachers selling and doing drugs at school only to get a 4 weeks suspension WITH pay.Parent Review9y ago - Cloudland High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy child is getting ready to graduate Kindergarten this year after spending 2 years in the preschool program there. My entire family of teachers agree that he is leaps and bounds above most children his age that they teach in other states. I can only thank the teachers at Little Milligan for the skills he has learned and am confident that they have set the groundwork for him to continue to be an excellent student. You can be sure that I will be sending my two younger kids through Little Milligan once they are old enough!Parent Review9y ago - Unaka Elementary School

"I guess all in all its like most other neighborhoods any more. You have your good and bad. There is a elementary school down the road. There is a college a couple of gad stations and a dollar store so a few conveniences but it is busy on the main road. The local volunteer fire department is very active and seem friendly. The crime rate locally does seem higher but I think it is increasing everywhere. People seem to leave you alone if you don't bother them maybe if you socialized they would but I don't have kids so I can't speak on that."
