10/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe worst experience I had in this school, was the vice principal's reaction to kid's safety. After dismissal on the 1st day of school in 2017, many kids were untraceable for 2 hrs. As one of us parents reached school, when the bus didn't drop our DO, so we came to know that they didn't even have any idea where the kids were. In our case, the bus dropped off at the wrong location and our poor 8yr old was left wandering the streets for 1.30 hrs in the heat. Ultimately, with the help of a kindly neighbor we located our DO. After a couple of days when I wished to discuss with the V-Principal what preventive measures the school was taking, as pre-K & KK classes were due to start, she just brushed me off - 'Oh! these things keep happening' and walked off.I have dealt with many schools before & after this one, but I have never faced such a callous attitude towards students' safety. I had even observed the front office treating parents like dirt & being rude to them. Its a mixed cultural area as are many other areas in the country but rarely have seen such a biased attitude.Other issues are- no second language & Gifted program starts only from 3rd grade - but, these are more of school district issues.Some teachers were really good.Parent Review4y ago - Collierville High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageCollierville High School was created to be a fantastic school, but those expectations have failed. The school is overcrowded, forcing students to shove each other in order to get to class. I have met very few teachers whom actually enjoy teaching, as well as enjoy respecting students. If you are not an outgoing, rowdy, talkative student, this school will not support you well. Those who disrupt class are favored while the few who actually want to learn are forgotten. Teachers do not care much for circumstances out of a student's control - they often judge before getting to know each individual. Harsh punishments are given where warnings should be handed out, and little is done to care for the mental health of the student body.Parent Review1y ago - Collierville Middle School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAll four of my children have attended CMS and my youngest is there now. We have been impressed with the quality of education and the great communication with parents (primarily through email and Power School app). There are many programs and clubs to challenge and brighten your students. We have been involved with band, orchestra, STEM, Beta Club and more. The only gripe is with not having a theatre program. They have a theatre club, but it’s a joke. My other complaint is no lockers. The teachers use the lockers for their own storage and so the students all have to carry 50 pound backpacks and lug them around all day. I can’t comment on how the school is for those struggling students as all ours have been straight A students. I know some kids have true disabilities, but often times it is lack of parental support and they blame the schools. That seems to be the negative ratings. We have always had wonderful experiences with this middle school as it really prepares them for high school.Parent Review6mo ago

"Everyone is very friendly and keeps an eye out on one another’s property, while respecting their privacy. Lots of kids- Mostly private school. Greenbelt trail in the neighborhood is great for biking, walking or running. Several lakes for fishing. "
