2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagei am a student here. I’m moving up and I’m super scared. I got bullied last year by people who I thought were my friends. She put corn in my hair and poured milk in me after she stole something from me and I tried to get it back. Teachers love humiliating students. Plenty of girls vaped I’m class and they never said anything. I asked a teacher about one of the girls and she said that she had seen her. This was nothing like the school I went to last year which was a 8/10 school. I don’t recommend this school at all. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI went to Belle Morris as a child, and as such, had high expectations. Unfortunately, they weren't met. My first child's kindergarten year was perfunctory at best. He was reading, writing, and comprehending at a 3rd grade level, but all I heard about his progress was the negative. My second child's kindergarten year was awful. The teacher seemed disinterested in teaching. She seemed to dislike children. The principal is nice, but seems overwhelmed. There is a strict uniform policy and I found that inhibiting. Polo style shirts are more expensive than t-shirts, and I don't understand the point behind it. Especially when the other schools in the area don't employee a uniform policy. The only positive I found was my first son's first grade teacher. I'll say Mr. Himmel was incredible! He personally interacted with each child, on their level, and taught each of them on an individual basis according to their specific needs. I thought he was wonderful. However, I'm moving before the start of the next school year, to a better school district. I hope to give my children a chance at a better education than I feel they would receive at this school.Parent Review12y ago

"Cars drive very fast on the roads around here and there is no way that a dog would live very long if it were allowed to roam freely. I would not want to be a dog owner in this community"

"There are so many dogs and cat around where I live. Some are nice and some are mean just gotta make sure you keep dog on a leash at all times no matter what. Some also pick up after them and some don’t. "

"Grew up around here years ago. Got to be one of the best areas to live. People are friendly. Feel safe here. Convenient area. Could have a few more restaurants, but were close enough to just about anything with a short drive."

"It’s easy in a town this small. My commute is local so only a 10 min drive to my work and to any shops or restaurants. If you want better shops, the drive to Knoxville is only 25 mins away. "

"I have a child in Clinton School Systems and it is great... They make sure your child knows what they need to for your age... even have a 3 year old they are allowing to begin speech therapy so she will be caught up before entering kindergarten. Law enforcement in the area are great and really do what they need to do ensure that residents have a safe enviroment to live in... I feel this is a great place to raise my children drug use is up as it is in alot of tennessee counties but it is not as bad as some other places around here and I feel that this is still a good place for children there is not much that they can get into that they shouldn't be doing! again the schools are great and there is alot of great parks for the children!!!!!!!!!! (I highly recommend Clinton City Schools)"
