Description

This property is not currently for sale or for rent on Trulia. The description and property data below may have been provided by a third party, the homeowner or public records.
Chock-full of upgrades, this home is in excellent condition and has been meticulously maintained. Some of the recent updates include a new HVAC system, new roof, new granite, new refrigerator, new 10" stainless sink, new paint/crown/lighting/flooring and gutters. This combined with added extras like the central vacuum, huge eat-in kitchen and lots of closet space make this home a must see. The layout is perfect as well. The master is separate from the 2 other bedrooms and there is a fabulous FROG which is a perfect bonus space or 4th BR. Off the living room is a private office space. And, off the back is a huge screen porch that overlooks the private backyard. To top it off, this house is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac, steps from the Ashley River and just 5 mins to everything. Some additional notes: Roof was replaced in 2015 and the sellers added wind mitigation which includes strengthening roof deck, installing a secondary water barrier to prevent water intrusion, installing extra supports and braces and higher wind-rated shingles/covering (these are architectural shingles). The HVAC system was replaced in 2016 with an entirely new Lennox system. They also added an extra vent in the FROG to help equalize temperatures in that area. The new flooring mentioned above is a premium vinyl tile throughout the kitchen and eat-in area (replaced just a few months ago) and new carpeting in the master and FROG (replaced in 2016). There is an alarm system in the property and it can be monitored and controlled by cell phone. (System was installed by Scout Alarm.)

"Nope! You have to walk over four blocks away for public bus. The bus is close to Rivers Ave and on Greenridge there are a lot of shooting so walking to the bus stop may not be good idea. Lots of people walk around the neighborhood but it’s just not safe around here anymore. I always drive because of all the foot traffic of transit people who randomly move here. I’ll be happy once we move away from this area. "

"It’s a busy place so I wouldn’t leave any child unsupervised if at all possible. People are very friendly and probably helpful but it’s a busy place, like foot traffic, so leaving a child unaccompanied is probably not advisable. "

"This is a wonderfully walkable neighborhood with plenty to do and see. Our house is in an old established neighborhood just two blocks from restaurants, yoga studios, shops, wine bars and craft breweries, fitness clubs, parks, farmers Market, Riverfront park - the list goes on. The City sponsors frequent events, and the area is one of the most desirable in the area. No need to go to downtown Charleston - although it is a short commute to go downtown or to any of the beaches or plantations."
