You do have the convience of two grocers and 2 pharmacies near,3 gas stations within 1/2-2miles distance Fatz restaurant,Lil Caesars Pizza, and a local restaurant Swamp Fox,yes it’s a somewhat quaint little neighborhood !!!"

"The Irmo area is a unique southern small town in the heart of SC. When first developed it was a quiet family based neighborhood with no worries but to the unfortunate tear down of projects and over population of homeless people being pushed outward from downtown Columbia, it’s slowly deteriorating. It is still one of the better neighborhoods to reside in for now. I can’t speak for the next 5 to 10 years. Irmo police does a great job deterring problematic groups. "
