"You would see dog owners walking their pets all around the neighborhood and even pets are welcome in nearby stores."

"Community festivals (you usually find out when you're driving though), traffic is terrible (there isn't any on-peak or off-peak times; it's always bad; except late at night; but getting worse by the day) some people are nice; not all) The community has become more rentals so you have a lot of diversity (not much southern hospitality anymore), schools are ok but people consistently ignore the active school zone alerts, speed limits are low but people ignore that as well. There is an area called River Walk, it's nice. Don't go at night. Don't forget to lock your cars, no matter what, even at home. Police are more worried about drugs than traffic laws. Prices in stores are the same as you'd get anywhere in the northern areas. The humidity here is 3 fold due to being inland and with it being in a swampy area, it gets really muggy and stinky and the city water is terrible. Don't drink it. :) To each their own."

"this area is near a college so there can be a lot of irresponsible young adults around, but there are lovely eating spots, walking trails, and people to be found here. the beach is the perfect distance to be able to go whenever the weather is perfect, but far enough away to be away from the hustle and bustle of the boulevard. We're located by two major arteries feedings interstate roads and shopping districts are accessible from either downtown or out by the beach. We ate by the Broadway at the Beach venue and other beach attractions like Ripley's, the Sky Wheel and racing cars. Fun for a ages and plenty of golf course for everyone. "
