4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy student was assaulted, bullied and harassed. I filed several complaints, and nothing was done. I felt like they cared more about the number of students over the safety of the student. I asked what the process was for bullies and physical assault and the response was they will be expelled however nothing was done. BUT... the staff did suggest I set him up for online school since there was a problem with him being bullied. mind you instead of removing the kids who were at fault you want me to remove my student. It also caused issues in his studies, and they would not address this other than to say my student was slipping in grades.Parent Review3mo ago - Spring Valley High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageBoth of my children attended all four years Spring Valley. The opportunities are endless! They can choose from basic CP classes to a wide array of AP courses depending on what best suits their needs. The teachers are accommodating, kind, and willing to work with all students, as they genuinely care about the students they teach. The principal goes above and beyond what is required for parents and students when an issue or need arises. There are a variety of clubs and athletics for anyone looking to be involved. Tutoring is available for all students if ever needed. I truly believe if your child is not successful at Spring Valley, it's due to a lack of initiative on the students part. Everything they need for success is at their fingertips, they just have to take the initiative to better themselves. I highly recommend Spring Valley and am grateful for the education they provided to my now young adults.Parent Review1y ago - Pontiac Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI just recently moved to this area and I thought the transformation for my son would have been hard. The staff at the school has been very helpful and made the transformation for my son very easy. I look forward to a great year for my son and school.Parent Review12y ago - Check out schools near 101 Norse Way.
