    "This is a great community to have kids. The schools are not the best but they are improving. The traffic is terrible and effects some of the buses to school and impacts time to work which can be difficult to manage. The government needs to improve the infrastructure to allow for more people to move to this city which continually proves to be a challenge. Overall a safe community with some diversity that also offers some privacy and sense of belonging. "

    "People do walk their dogs but the homes have nice size yards for them also. Most people are friendly. Homes are kept nicely. There are side walks in the newer section but is safe to walk in any part of the neighborhood. You can walk to a lot of restaurants, grocery stores, retail stores including citadel mall, pubs, and coffee shops. Really nice place to live and close to downtown. "

If there's an accident, traffic gets backed up and/or rerouted traffic gets stuck and so called short cuts don't help."

    "I used to live in this neighborhood; I liked it because it was a more centrally located place to live and quite a step up from apartment living. My children first attended Oakland Elem. But then were transferred to StonoPark Elem. , then moved up to C.E. Williams Middle Schl. And then moved up to the neighborhood's old high school before it relocated to its present place in the West Ashley area. I am currently looking at some homes for sale in and around the same area."
