Exceptional school! My children were behind academically because of forced remote learning in another state. A big factor for moving here was because of the school system. LMES provided the resources my children needed and they are all doing great now! I’m forever grateful for the kindness the staff shows my children. They’ve learned so much and absolutely love going to school.

As a caucasian parent, I support Mary Wood and her teachings. Students absolutely should be reading material such as Ta-Nehisi Coates’ “Between the World and Me".

Parents and students are in charge, admin does nothing about student behavior because they are afraid of being sued. Students harass teachers often and nothing is done about it. Do not recommend teaching here.

My daughter has thrived at this school. She has done well academically and has not had to worry about bullying or fitting in. Everyone is accepted for who they are. It's right next door to the CATE center which is a huge plus. The teachers are amazing and most communicate weekly with the parents of what is upcoming and expected. My child is coming up on her 4th and final year here. They don't have varsity sports here but you can still participate at the other local high school. You get in by a lottery system.

i went here and one time we found a half eaten corn dog in the hand dryer, and that one incident would pretty much sum up my whole time there ngl
