4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSmall district in the process of making an extraordinary turn around. Ratings and test scores do not reflect the improvements being made in acedemics. Great teachers and administrators impacting students in a very individual and personal way that inspires lifelong learners beyond the standardized test. My kids have had a very positive experience at each grade level so far.Parent Review5y ago - Bellevue El School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have a special needs son and a very emotional daughter. They are in Bellevue elementary. I can say first hand how amazing the school has been with both of my children on opposite learning abilities. The chill room has been HUGE for my son, they even soundproofed the lunch room for all sensory kids needs. The teachers both kids have had, are very hands on with the parents to see what we think works at home and try it at school. I have never heard a NO we can't do that, they just try anything and everything. I have nothing but POSITIVE things to say about the staff and principle running the school! I will keep sending my children there.Parent Review6mo ago - Check out schools near 296 N Balph Ave.

It is also very dog friendly. A place where neighbors really know each other!! An amazing place to live and grow a family. All ages!"

"It’s quite small and centered between route 210, Waldorf, and National Harbor. Most living here are families with good jobs. Also it has become an area with steady growth in the surrounding commercial zoning locations due to the increase in residential property development. It’s a budding location with a lot of potential to offer its current and future residents."

"The downtown area is among the best including the bars, restaurants and local shops. The Plant Street market and Crooked Can brewery are great hangouts. The city creates fantastic holiday and seasonal celebrations in DTWG. And the surrounding neighborhoods are all connected by a golf cart district."

"Best place to live in DC. It’s a beautiful neighborhood that is urban but not downtown. It’s all about the park and trail, tons of restaurants, things to do, grocery stores, markets, bar. Has its own metro in easy walking distance and a trail that connect you to the east side of the city. "

"NoMa Bid has been creating a huge sense of community in Eckington and NoMa. For one they keep the area so clean and you always see their workers sweeping the sidewalks, changing trashing, maintenance at the dog park. And then there’s the events, most at the A.T. Park and the MBTrail. Movie in the park, farmers market, holiday events like pumpkin patch/contest, and of course the mural walls festival. The trail and park have beautiful murals everywhere and each year local artist renew most of them. (NoMa in Color). Also the dog parks is a big vibe in the area, Eckington Dog Park is the best in the city, but there are 4 in the area. Also, Bouldering Project is a cool bouldering and fitness gym. Theres tons of grocery, restaurants, bars and beer gardens, etc. it’s surround by Union Market, Brookland, Shaw, H Street… all connect my the MBT (bike/walk trail) and NoMa/Gallaudet Metro Station (subway).
