7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePros:1. Engaged students, teachers and parents. Active parent-driven PTA provides extracurricular community events and supports parent engagement including in-class parent volunteer activities.2. School administrators and teachers develop personal bonds with families and students and are invested in students’ learning experience. 3. Robust music curriculum.Cons: 1. Technology-heavy teacher-guided instruction limits hands-on learning, drastically reduces memory retention, prevents practice of fine motor learning skills in handwriting and art, and removes teacher from interactive oversight of student progress. 2. District policies and leadership appear to emphasize equity and social justice themes that are generally viewed as proper role for parents, which distracts from public school primary purpose to provide effective delivery of core reading, writing, math and science subjects and a sound learning environment.Parent Review1y ago - Mt Lebanon Senior High School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe first post was pretty much correct. Do not move here if you don’t have money or can do something for someone. Also, there is no help for kids who struggle. You will however be harassed or ignored. Stay away.Other Review2mo ago - Jefferson Middle School
