I have been very pleased with Baker. There is a lot of parental involvement in the school and the administration and faculty really care about the students. Class size generally ranges from 18 - 23 students, though my child's classes have never had more than 21. There are many resources available at the school whenever a child needs some extra help in an area including math and reading specialists and speech specialists. Sometimes the help can be long term, or sometimes short term based on the child's need. In addition to the traditional academic subjects, each child also takes Spanish, library, art, gym, and music. In the 3rd and 4th grade, extra instrumental classes are available at no cost although families must provide the instruments. Once the children reach 3rd grade they can participate in an independent research project. Clubs available for 4th graders either before or after school are too numerous to mention. Overall, Baker has provided an excellent place for my child to learn and grow.

My daughter had such a wonderful educational experience in the IB program. All of her teachers were very demanding, kind, and encouraging, helping her develop a love of learning and the discipline to succeed. We look forward to doing it all again these next two years with our son.
