6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageKirkbride is a wonderful neighborhood school and if your family lives in catchment is a great opportunity! The teachers, principal and staff are all full of energy and genuinely care about the students. Walking through the halls, there are lots of murals, artwork and classroom displays. There is a well-stocked school library and an active HSA. In our experience, teachers have been very good about communicating with families through ClassDojo, report card conferences and APTT meetings. Based on the work that comes home, there are lots of opportunities for learning differentiation in the classroom and students are being taught solid skills in creative ways.Parent Review1y ago - Furness Horace High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI don't think the test score reflects the school's quality of education. Our students in Furness come from all where in the world. We have a very diverse student body. As a graduate student and also a valedictorian of the Furness High School, I can proundly say that our faculty members and students are great. Our test score may not as good as the other school, but our students are carrying more weight in family and it's not easy to anyone to study a new language.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 919 Reed St.

"For Philly, it’s fairly family friendly. There’s not really good outdoor space for playing. Public transportation is limited to buses. The Italian market is really close, so great selection of cheese, meat, veggies, and plants. "

"I have great access to a lot of stores, Italian/Asian markets, Stadiums and center city. Everything is great walking distance or easy public transportation. Parking can be a hassle if you don’t have a permit/personal spot."
