7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am a substitute teacher and have been to many schools in this district. This school is a free for all. At any given moment there are special needs students running the halls because there is no support for them. There is no security and a child could and has left the building without an adult being aware. The principal "encourages" the staff with negative comments leading to very low morale. I would send my kid to any other school and look into this one if my child was attending.Teacher Review4mo ago - Penn Treaty Middle School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI was hesitant to send my child at first... But after actually going to the school and meeting the teachers and staff I was confident my student would do well here. It's a wonderfully diverse environment. There is a focus on college preparation beginning in 9th grade. Penn treaty has many programs to support the students such as 12+, AVID, and city year. There are extra curricular activities and sports. This is a school on the rise. The staff and students are working hard to raise expectations.Parent Review5y ago - Check out schools near 2517 Memphis St.
