3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school SERIOUSLY needs improvement, im only in my 2nd year here and it is insanely bad, kids never focus, fights happen too often, and teachers can barely get kids to calm down, I had a friend who got suspended for no reason, me and she were just sticking up to someone else and then my friend got suspended instead of the bully, there are also some materials that break easily sometimes. and the principal needs to come in the 6th-grade lunchroom every day, just so everyone can shush, that's how bad it's getting.Student Review1y ago - Marshall Street El School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHello there. I am a mother to a 2nd grade student. She is doing well. My daughter as well as my husband and I have only had good experiences with the Marshall Street Elementary school. I am a black mother and I can say even with a majority Caucasian staff, have never felt like I was being discriminated against. The school is a good school!! Very well run. I was skeptical in the first two years of my daughter's schooling because of the low rating it has on this platform. However, with my experience I can see why English scores can be low because many of the students have English as the second language. Thus parents cannot help that much with English homework. This then also goes into why Math scores are not the best because Math comprehension does also rest on English comprehension in a lot of cases and understanding what the teacher is saying in class. Marshall Street Elementary is a great school! Teachers are great and admin staff are great!Parent Review2y ago - Norristown Area High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is not recommended for people who havent lived in a tuff neighborhood before. From a old teachers perspective i noticed the constant lack of teacher care of fights and effort to help students out with grades or bring forward more effort is disgusting. 1 Star.Other Review1y ago - Check out schools near 533 Buttonwood St.

"a bit congested mostly one or two way streets. so no rush hour in the morning and in the evening can a Don five even 10 minutes to the trip. so if you only work 10 minutes down the road as I do it doubles my time sometimes!"
