8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a wonderful school district! My children love it, as do I! The teachers are very professional, but also very friendly and accessible. You can tell they love the children and what they do! Communication with parents is excellent (especially in certain grades where daily emails are sent out covering the day's lessons, homework, and any upcoming tests/quizzes/projects). Any problems are handled right away. I highly recommend this school district!Parent Review9y ago - Neshannock Junior-Senior High School

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe education is good at Neshannock but there is a lot of preparing to be tested. They need a more diverse schedule - maybe trimesters with more classes that aren't year long - the kids get bored. I also believe students should have finals at the end of semesters - I just hope my child knows how to take these types of tests. Also more active clubs are needed - less focus on football please - most parents send their kids for the education not the road games. There are many dedicated teachers and staff here but like always some are just waiting for retirement. I recommend the French Program as the language to take. I am encouraged that they are now randomly testing students for drugs b/c many students were open about using while my kids attended here. If the parents are going to ignore this the school must step in. Overall my kids learned a lot about life choices and the difference a good choice can make - but this came from a lot of home discussions not from participating in school activities. I give this school an "Average" review because with all the resources available to these students it should be much higher.Parent Review8y ago - Check out schools near 3536 Hunters Woods Blvd #2.

"To much crime. Shootings ,stabbings almost every other day. Drugs are really bad also. Have had to put security system and cameras up everywhere around our home and we still do not feel safe. We will not be staying in the area much longer. To many kids getting involved in crime and that’s sad. "

"I live on the North Hill part of town. Lived here for 4 yrs now. Neighbors don't introduce themselves. I only know 1 neighbors name. City's roads suck, but it's a poor area with out much funding."

"just quiet...no one bothers you but neighbors are to themselves...Not unique by any means....we need more lighting of peoples porches..too dark at night..eerie feeling unfortunately."

"there is public transport. streets are not all lined or well marked with turn only lanes so it's confusing sometimes. Street signs are located higher up on the poles than I'm used to and it makes some a little hard to read. once you learn your way around town, it's not hard to commute by car. "
