Upstairs the practical luxury continues with a huge open loft that provides a second floor living area. The Primary Bedroom is a private retreat and features a sitting area, tray ceiling and dual walk-in closets. The Primary Bath has dual vanities, an oversized Roman shower and compartmentalized toilet. The secondary bedrooms are huge and each features a walk-in closet. A coveted laundry rounds out the second floor. On the lower level is a 28' x 40' finished recreation room complete with wet bar for entertaining, and a separate media room, home office and full bath. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a current college student, I have come to appreciate the education I got at CD. Nearly everyone in my classes now struggles with things like basic computer programming with excel, which is something I learned how to do in 6th grade. Sure, everyone thinks that they’re high school is bad or a nuisance when they’re there, but it’s clear to see the difference between the education I got compared to others. CD also has some very well known athletic programs, which some people may assume means we only focused on sports, but I can guarantee that nearly all of the athletes I was in classes with made classes a priority as well. I loved just about all of my teachers and I truly feel like they were passionate about teaching. I know I don’t speak for everyone, but I believe that CD has a great academic curriculum that prepares students to succeed in their future education and/or career.Other Review5mo ago - North Side El School

"Uptown, Harrisburg is a diamond in the rough, that is going thru a current transition. Miton Hershey us opening a new school in the Uptown neighborhood. PA Archives and Federal Courthouse and now been added and a slew of great local grub, that you can eat and stroll by the Susquehanna River. Properties for sale are scarce, but they are a great entry price that you can have room to renovate to your liking. People are generally respectful and the crime(if any) is usually personal, respectively. "
