It has been going downhill full speed in the past few years since they have a new principal. This school does not care about your children, they are only hungry of power and money. They harass parents and bully children. This school is not a good and safe place for kids to grow up. They have wonderful services if your child needs any extra help with a disability. I can not say more good things about Garnet Valley. I've been in the area 15 years and it just keeps getting better. 6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is sinking in ranks. This school has some of the worst teachers. If you have a kid needing any support you will NOT find it here. If a plan says your kid needs a quiet place to take a test the immature teacher will place your kid in a loud room. They embarrass kids publicly this is why you are failing my class !!!! When they have a learning disability. The teachers will not show kindness or compassion for you … unless maybe they know your family well or your kid requires nothing more than a seat . They yell at kids and there is a teacher who literally talk about his personal life the majority of each class ! Some kids filmed it and doesn’t teach ! Then gets mad when kids don’t know a thing ! You will be better off buying a home with lower taxes and finding a private school ! This middle school will cause low self esteem, anxiety, depression in many of these kids … and the teens get away with bullying, assault and more ! Down hill !! Run ! They teach like military with zero care for 504 plans or IEP …. Zero compassion !!! I mean zero … I am glad my kids survived…oh and they never believe a word a kid tells them ! "There is zero public transportation near me despite living near the high school. It is a few miles walk to catch a bus. However If you have a car it is a beautiful area and close enough to major shopping and entertainment. "

"There are a lot of parks but not many sidewalks within most neighborhoods themselves. Glen Mills is fairly wooded so there are many places to take your dog on a walk without a ton of people around. "

"Commuting to Radnor and other parts of the PA mainline is a breeze. It's approximately 45 minutes on back roads or driving the Blue Route direct. Alternatively I could commute around the same or less to jobs in Wilmington DE. Best of both worlds. "

"Love that it is close to major shopping and food areas. Routes 3,202,1 are all within a 10 minute drive of the neighborhood but it also feels like we are in the middle of the woods. The view from the higher portion of the development is incredible "
