4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat School++++ probably the best in this district. The teachers, staff and principal are truly commited to education. Most of the teachers have been there a very long time and understand the importance of education. The school is great but the parental involvement needs be better. 2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’ve been going here since 2019 when I started as a freshman, and the school is terrible, the administrators don’t care to help any of the students with questions and when it comes to bullying no body wants to help, I’ve been called names by the teachers more than 5 times and it seems like the teachers and stuff members only work there for a paycheck not to mention also that it has been multiple threats made at the school such as people shooting outside the school or close to it, if you are in the 8th grade looking for a high school, please go to STEM or any other high school in the area because Chester High School is easily the worst high school on the northeastern part of AmericaStudent Review2y ago - STEM AT SHOWALTER

"My neighborhood has great access to public transportation and the downtown area is walking distance. I can walk to track and parks. I been here most of my life but would like change. It's just not a safe place any more to live. My children are adults so I feel it's time to move."

"The Sidewalks are very slim not very wide and you have to watch for aggressive drivers while walking your dogs and the streets are very very dark in the evening need more street lightning "
