2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAllen High School is probably the worst school in Pennsylvania. It is extremely dirty, white powder covers every inch of it. The teachers are terrible, either very incompetent or completely unreasonable. The school itself is just a maze of buildings built ontop of each other after a century and a half.Student Review6y ago - Trexler Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWhy a teacher won't let a student go to the bathroom? The student pee on herself in the classroom, then the staff ask the teacher why that happen? So, the teacher answer was, that he gave her permission to go. Then another teacher bully a student and when the student defend herself she gets suspension or detention. Oh wait, how about this one, a student get blame for a nasty message on the class board when another student was the one who wrote it, but still none of that staff bother to find out who wrote it. So, the student who was blame, got detention or other type of punishment. And all this just happened in less than a week. I believe the teachers don’t want the student to have their cell phone with them because the teachers can get caught doing wrongful things to the students and the student won’t be able to have proven of it.Parent Review7y ago - Check out schools near 430 N 22nd St.

"I grew up in the West End, and still live here today. I love the tree line streets and all of the houses look different from each other, its not a “development” feel, the homes are unique. There are sidewalks everywhere, and street lights at night for added safety. Every other street is a number, so its fairly easy to learn your way the neighborhoods. "

"The west end is diverse, friendly, and neighborly conscious. Many families utilize both public and a variety of parochial and independent schools throughout the lehigh valley. Families in this community are sought out by these schooling alternatives. "

"My commute is very good daily, my neighborhood is quiet and everyone speaks to everyone when in passing. We may not know our neighbors well but they as well as my family are always courteous and respectful to one another’s property and we watch out for each other’s homes when away. I couldn’t have asked to live in a better neighborhood."

"I think that my commute is sub-par. With most of the parking being on the roads it sometimes makes it hard to see when making a turn. Otherwise I don’t feel that there is heavy traffic aside from construction traffic. "
