4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageYou have to take the bad with the good in life. East is full of dedicated staff and teachers. Schools have intense pressures to meet & maintain federal, state, local, and community standards and needs with a continuously shrinking budget. With those restrictions in mind I give East Elementary full star rating.Parent Review9y ago - Liberty Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy son was here for kindergarten and was a special ed student.. Prior to kindergarten he went to the Northwest Regional ESD for preschool. The transition into kindergarten at S. Prairie was great. They have an extremely good staff for special education and have a great networking team for special ed with good funding for such a small community. The special ed instructor and speech therapist worked so well on a personal level with both my son as well as me. They went out of their way to get us any help they possibly could to help my son succeed in his educational needs. I would highly recommend this school for a special needs child in the Tillamook area. It is a great school for such a small town.Parent Review12y ago - Tillamook Junior High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm currently a student here at Tillamook High. The teachers and extra-curricular diversity of clubs and sports are my favorite part of the school. I came to this school my Sophomore year (2016-2017) and it's honestly MUCH better than the school I went to my Freshman year. The only problems I've faced at this school are a lack of good friends and a small bias towards sports activity achievements rather than others, such as arts achievements or club achievements. For example, we would have whole assemblies, where the whole student body was pulled out of classes and the day's schedule was different than the normal day's schedule (making class time shorter), 2/3 focused on the achievements of athletic teams at competitions, while other clubs or departments, such as art show success or smaller clubs like science club, only receive congratulations over daily announcements. Overall, this school is very good. I always look forward to all of my classes and the teachers have never made me feel unwelcome. I'm moving away after my Sophomore year is over, and I'm definitely not thrilled to be leaving a great school like this; I will absolutely, without a doubt extremely miss this school and all I've been able to experience and accomplish here. "I have lived near this neighborhood. I resided at 4th & Birch for three years. That is my target neighborhood. This is near my target neighborhood. I actually know some of the history of this house. Back in the day, this house was the hired hand home and the neighboring house was the main house in a farm, no longer there, obviously. At one time, this neighborhood was farm land. Many historical stories are attached to this home and neighborhood. The elders that have the knowledge of this history are dying. Whom ever owns these properties, I would encourage to seek out the elders/ keepers of wisdom and record their stories before it’s too late. J"

"I drive to town and work every day. One of my kids can walk to school while the other needs a ride. It's not like it's a very far drive but you still need to drive in most cases "
