7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI honestly can not make thought into words about Ontario High School. Ontario High School is like any other school on the surface; but after getting to know the faculty administrators and staff (excluding SOME of the teachers), it becomes difficult to attend such institution for four years, let alone working there for one year. For Example - I am a recent graduate from Ontario High School. I participated in band, Drama Club and FFA. If it wasn't for the support from select peers and teachers. I would have either failed and dropped out or found an alternate from of education. Learning -There was no excitement or engagement in learning. Ever since they transitioned into their trimester system; you only had nine weeks to squeeze in one quarter's about of education. in result; you lacked important parts of the lesson that would further your understanding on the topic or lack the like skill that it is trying to teach.Teaching - ( Respectful motivating and supportive)Not so much. The Educators were under a sufficient about of stress to get through all of their lesson in a timely manor. If they failed to do so, which occurred often. The administrators would scream ( yes scream) at the teachers and put them down; which then took the support and motivation away. Social - emotional support - This school doesn't tolerate any of this. If your child has some form of social emotional problem; KEEP them out of OSD. Too many of my good friends had way too much self-harm problems caused by other student, faculty and administrator's. The about of put down and bullying is sickening in this institution. special Education - Special Ed is okay. Most of the students carry a 504, which in simple terms changes their curriculum so that it is easier for the student. In my opinion; I feel like it does not set the student up for success. At my old school district; if a students had a IEP, that kid might have rephrased questions, less number questions etc. But that student is still learning the same thing as the other students. Safety -School lacks safety. All the doors were unlocked when I attended. Anyone could get in.Family Engagement - Simple. HOREBLE (PERIOD). Between my sibling being interrogated by school administrators and police without parent approval and the principle banning my mother for a runner that was spread my another student. Horrible. Over all its an school that you'll get an diploma, but not a good one.Other Review5mo ago - Check out schools near 1123 SW 2nd St #7.

"It's not unique. The town is nearly all the same except for the very newest of neighborhoods. It hasn't grown because of land division problems. "
