5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall a great school. Reading another review concerning “political propaganda”, I can say that the individual is probably no longer employed at the school and has a skewed perspective. Human rights are a completely separate issue from any staff member’s political or religious views, and Fruitdale does take supporting all students and their families seriously. It is a public school and public places in this nation should be safe and welcoming for all. Fruitdale Elementary is a diverse and welcoming environment. I agree that the schedule of constantly moving to different small groups is not for all students, and is definitely stressful for the younger grades and the neurodivergent students. The students spend more time with other teachers and instructional assistants than their own teachers. Having the experience of diverse teaching is beneficial but also takes away from the building of class “community”. Safety is sometimes a concern, but is foremost on staff members’ minds. Field trips are almost non-existent and encouraging more families to volunteer could be improved. The best thing about Fruitdale has always been its staff members, most are very loving and dedicated.Other Review11mo ago - Lincoln Savage Middle School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI don't think very highly of this school. The staff thinks of themselves as the lead parents over the students parents. The students are allowed to treat the staff like the students are in charge.Parent Review1y ago - Check out schools near 2214 Poppy Ln.

"I think dog owners would like the distance they would have to walk their dog but they wouldn't like the traffic because it is a highway and drivers don't always pay attention to who's walking on the side of the road. "

"Meth addicts are very respectful and will wait to steal your property while you're at work. Homeless lazy drunks are friendly for the most part, as long as you don't try to kick them off your lawn before noon. Police ask for more money every year while conditions stay the same while our property taxes double every few years to hire more sheriff's that don't respond it calls. Great Town! "

"I am next to the high school, which is great if you love hearing positive noise often or if you have school aged kids. The elementary school is just a few blocks away. It's fun to walk to the high school to see a football game or look out my kitchen window to see baseball games or track meets."
