3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a student that has recently graduated from NAMS, I would never recommend it to anyone. I got an okay education but could have gotten much better. I went to NAMS during a highly political time. And you could often tell where a teacher stood on a political issue. Many teachers have political messaging throughout their classrooms. I remember when I counted how many American flags were up compared to the political messaging and there were more political signs. Now, this doesn't mean that I didn't have enjoyable experiences there. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageSome really phenomenal work being done by educators who work long days in order to support students and provide afterschool homework help and clubs. I was most impressed with the band, AP and honors courses, and the way students support one another. I think the school could be even stronger with more choices of electives for students since lots of students would thrive with more choices. "it's a good distance between McMinnville and Forest Grove, and close to Yamhill. Most neighbors are okay. TONS of drug addicts though."
