6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI’m actually pretty shocked that Oakdale heights has such a low score. My daughter is going in to second grade and has been attending since kindergarten. The staff at this school go above and beyond to make sure my daughter is doing well, their communication with me and with her is excellent. She has made extraordinary progress and I couldn’t be more impressed. I’m thinking the terrible score from great schools has to be very outdated?Parent Review1y ago - Whitworth Elementary School

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe teachers and staff at Whitworth genuinely care about my two children who went through there recently. They both grew academically and personally and overall it was a great experience for them attending this school.Parent Review1y ago - Lacreole Middle School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe students at this school have no respect for their superiors or even their own peers. The bullying at this school is outrageous. The teachers here don't offer proper support for students being bullied. Some of the teachers don't know how to handle a class and it's absolute chaos. The school itself is in horrible conditions. The bathrooms are destroyed, and the stalls barely close. The cleanliness is god awful. The temperature in the school is always cold, even in the winter they have the air conditioning going. And the pasing periods only last 4 minutes, that is not nearly enough time to get to one class, to your locker, and to the next class, while being expected to use the restroom in that time.Other Review2mo ago - Dallas High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a new student to Dallas High this year, my daughter has found that the classes seem a bit more advanced than the previous school she attended. There is also a greater variety of classes from which to choose, which her other school just didn't offer.Parent Review13y ago - Check out schools near 12120 Clow Corner Rd.

"I assume it is because most of your neighbors enjoy seeing dogs and their owners walking about. It makes the neighborhood feel lively. However, recently while walking my dog there was a weird animal that was near the park... it was bigger than the typical raccoon and being new to the area I’m not sure what it would be, just be cognizant of your animals and kiddos."

"Friendly small town, great for raising kids. We moved here on 2001 and raised our 3 kids. They were active in baseball, soccer, football and track all at a young age through high school. Aquatic center is wonderful for excessive and there are nice walking paths along the river. During the summer on Thursday nights you can enjoy live music during the “sounds of summer”. Love this little big town!"
