9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating Averagei graduated here in 2020 and im disappointed at how this school turned out to be since I left. the level of disrespect the students are withholding is skyrocketing.when I was here i got shoved in the hallway because apparently I was getting crowded by everyone else around me and the school fails to address such behavior that doesn't live up to a safe and professional setting standard that I kinda wish existed in mustang. i expected better from this school, especially since its been 3 years since I graduated here and nothings been done to help address rude behavior. these issues have been resurfacing from time to time, especially from my siblings that currently go there, and it saddens me to see them upset like this. if you are a parent/guardian of a child in mustang please talk to your child about how they feel and what they've experienced. some rules and regulations are not stiff enough and people continue to bypass the rules thinking that they wont get caught and that's not okay. i hope that this raises awareness of anyone who plan on going to mustang or is currently in mustang. thank youOther Review5mo ago - MEADOW BROOK INTERMEDIATE ES

9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageOverall we had a great experience at this school and recommend it over Piedmont Intermediate which my son also attended. Meadow Brook has advanced classes such as 6th grade advanced math, and 7th grade algebra. They also offer courses in robotics, STEM, and technology. Parent drop off and pickup was ok. Communication with school staff and admissions was great. Communication with teachers was not ideal due to social distancing restrictions but teachers communicated fairly well via email. The few teachers I met in person left a positive impression. My son says it was really easy to make friends. One possible negative was that the gifted program is only half the year which is different from every other school he attended.Parent Review9mo ago - RIVERWOOD ES

6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is the 3rd school year my special needs daughter has attended Riverwood. We moved to Mustang from OKC mainly because of all the great things I'd hear from other special needs parents about how great this school system is. Our experience is that our daughter has thrived from day one! Her teacher communicated regularly with me and is consistent and engaged with her students (as well as the assistants in the classroom). My daughter has learned so much - far more than I would have expected her capable of - over the past couple of years. The support staff like speech, occupational and physical therapists are so invested in the kids and are also great communicators. My daughter loves going to school each morning and is a happier and more vibrant student than at our previous school district. I highly recommend this school and entire school district.Parent Review1y ago - Mustang Central Middle School

"Commute isn’t terrible. Being close to I-40 helps. Traffic on the area is increasing due to new shopping center nearby and added traffic lights, but having retailers nearby had significantly improved the outer appeal of the neighborhood. "

"many school zones and traffic stops but the people are friendly and police don’t hassle you! i’ve lived here my whole life and besides some construction that needs to be done and how clustered it can get from 2-4pm it’s not too bad! 35mph most of the way through so it’s a bit slow but overall not too bad compared to some places.
