4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've been involved with Capps Middle School for six years now. It's a WONDERFUL school with AMAZING teachers who really do care about our kids! Just last year the school moved into its beautiful new building, and everyone is so proud to be a part of it all. They set aside time for the day's work to be completed in school as too often kids won't get it done. Truly, if anyone has problems, discuss it with the teachers and/or the administration. They are very willing and fair -- and only want the best for our kids! YAY, CAPPS!Parent Review2y ago - Coronado Heights Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorrible. My son never had any issues with his other school and I'm moving back with in James L. Dennis Elementary just so he can finish his schooling at a GOOD school. Worst mistake I have ever made was changing him from Dennis because of a move. Between teachers thinking a child reacting with a curse word from being physically hurt is worse than the child who physically hurt another child, coming home with an absurd idea of Columus and Gen. Lee. Not to mention my son ended up 2 weeks behind in math class work before I heard about it from his teacher, and when I did she tried to blame it on him not trying. However, when I worked with him, I found out he just had no clue on what to do and struggling with his math. What kind of teacher who cares lets that happen for that long and then tries to blame him to keep herself from getting in trouble? Not the kind I want teaching my kid! Can't wait to get back to Dennis.Parent Review5y ago - Putnam City High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLiterally the single worst school in Oklahoma. Big violence problem, not to mention the lack of action towards bullying and harassment. I also was unfortunately one of the students who had to endure the many problems with the bus lines and such. 3 bus routes worth of sweaty teens packed tightly into ONE bus, which made it nearly impossible to fit. Not to mention sometimes the bus just would not be there. The amount of times I had to have my mom get off of work just to pick me up is RIDICULOUS. And thanks to the school's complete disregard for mental health, I ended up almost getting hospitalized. And yes, I blame the school, because as soon as I got up and out of that hell pit, I was doing MUCH better. So here's a little bit of advice, parents: Don't let your kids go here. NO MATTER WHAT.Student Review2mo ago - Check out schools near 4105 NW 60th St.

"I have lived here since 2017 and I absolutely love this neighborhood. It's quite, friendly, safe and very child friendly. There is never any crime and you hardly ever hear emergency sirens. Every single neighbor has been wonderful and polite except one. "

"Best place to live in DC. It’s a beautiful neighborhood that is urban but not downtown. It’s all about the park and trail, tons of restaurants, things to do, grocery stores, markets, bar. Has its own metro in easy walking distance and a trail that connect you to the east side of the city. "

"NoMa Bid has been creating a huge sense of community in Eckington and NoMa. For one they keep the area so clean and you always see their workers sweeping the sidewalks, changing trashing, maintenance at the dog park. And then there’s the events, most at the A.T. Park and the MBTrail. Movie in the park, farmers market, holiday events like pumpkin patch/contest, and of course the mural walls festival. The trail and park have beautiful murals everywhere and each year local artist renew most of them. (NoMa in Color). Also the dog parks is a big vibe in the area, Eckington Dog Park is the best in the city, but there are 4 in the area. Also, Bouldering Project is a cool bouldering and fitness gym. Theres tons of grocery, restaurants, bars and beer gardens, etc. it’s surround by Union Market, Brookland, Shaw, H Street… all connect my the MBT (bike/walk trail) and NoMa/Gallaudet Metro Station (subway). "20 minutes to town, one can go through downtown 25 mph or there are other roads through the countryside that have no lights and higher speed limits to get to the other end of town. 30 min to Carson City. One hour to Reno"
