4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AveragePrincipal Spears in mainly interested in optics, rather than actual student education. She loves focusing on behavior, things that make for good Facebook pictures, and hiring more staff. The teachers were mostly good, and when they were permitted to do what they thought best for kids, they did a pretty good job. But Spears suppresses a lot of real creativity. And she doesn't allow time for teachers to modify work for children with IEPs.Parent Review3mo ago - John Marshall Middle School

1/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI can’t tell you how many times I got upset. I’ve cried multiple times by people in this school. The teachers aren’t bad but some teachers are just straight up rude and don’t even teach. The school lunch is okay and the test make absolutely no sense. As a person who gets high grade some work is easy but some make no sense. There are lots of fights. Lots. Lots of fights. The principal sends students home for fighting and treats the other students that don’t fight worse treatment. Field trips are okay but the school doesn’t even provide items for students. Yeah I get it costs a lot but to the point the teachers that are actually nice have to pay for everything. Overall the school is a dump and you should not let your kid be in this school. "Are you still late for your just a few years ago and the neighborhood has gotten much better. A lot of the houses are getting remodeled and a younger group of people seem to be moving in. You’re close to Classen which gives you access to most all the districts in Oklahoma City quite easily. Definitely saw the song less than desirable areas but seems to be improving."
