Here is the perfect opportunity to buy your dream bed and breakfast business. This property has amazing reviews and constant bookings. You can choose to live on site as the current owners do or rent them all as units. Currently known as Cottages at Willow Pond, the setting is serine. They have made it a wedding and elopement venue, and there is a large 30x40 metal barn waiting to be made into a large indoor wedding and event venue. There are 3 beautiful cottages all with hot tubs, and a main house. Each cottage has its own unique feel. There is a beautiful gazebo next to the pond with fountain that is perfect for an outdoor wedding backdrop. Each cottage has its own privacy, and inside each has cozy fireplaces, full kitchens, large baths with jetted tubs, and large showers. The cottages will come fully furnished, and all the future bookings. There is plenty of room on this aprox 10 acres to add additional cottages. If you've ever thought of having your own B&B, the time is now!

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFirst off I would like to state my poor girl has been to three kindergartens. In Edmond the way they dealt with her physically abusive bully was by moving my child next to him. Hartshorne gives the kids three full free meals so no one is singled out. Unfortunately, Guthrie will tell you if you owe as much as .50 cents. However? My child has been happy here. Mrs. Mabrey does not tolerate bullies according to my daughter. She communicates often, promptly, clearly and effectively. She has been the only teacher to teach any math or history. My daughter and Guthrie public schools are lucky to have her.Parent Review6y ago - Guthrie Upper Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy two daughters are now at the High School. One is a Senior and her experience has been so positive. She has started concurrent classes at UCO and is more than prepared for college level work. My freshman daughter settled right in and loves her teachers and classes.Parent Review10y ago - Guthrie Junior High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe recently moved to the State and the City. As a former teacher for 12 years, I know understanding what teaching involves and how challenging it is. I always give the teachers and administrators the benefit of the doubt. My daughter, who has ADD/ADHD started attending school this year and her first semester she did very poorly. We blamed he mostly because since we were knew, I didn't monitor. The disappointing thing is that only one teacher contacted us about her grades. One I contacted, basically told me she just graded their assignments/tests and gave input there. There is hardly no communication between school and home. Zero, except when they miss school (this means money lost for the district). If the teachers are not motivated, administration doesn't care why should students care? Having worked in almost all Title 1 Schools this was not the case with me or with the schools I worked. Very disappointed about the state of our educational system. My daughter has done well the second semester. Unfortunately, this is the only Jr. High School here so but I will consider a private school next year.Parent Review1y ago - Central Elementary School

"Nice historic town with a homey atmosphere. My kids went through the school system and it is a good school system, except for the transportation director. my daughter now teaches in the high school. Lived outside of town in a rural housing edition that is safe and friendly. The HOA is overbearing and tedious. "

"This area is very much a laid back retreat for those seeking a calm and quiet area to relax. However, it's easy drive to downtown Guthrie helps maintain local entertainment ability for those quick nights out. And Guthrie's overall proximity to Edmond and OKC Metro makes for fun and inspiring evenings to the entertainment districts with more cultural, art and historic sites just a short drive away. And for those looking for more fun, the Frontier City amusement park is only 20 minutes away, straight down I-35. Come and take a look."
