6/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe leadership under the direction of Mrs.Edwards and the teachers are alway about academics and they care about the welfare of the students. Making the grade is important but also knowing what the have accomplish is what will stay with them the rest of their lives. 5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIt could be better. If considering moving to this area. I would strongly consider a school just outside of the CHICKASHA public school system. Like Friend or Pioneer. Maybe even Ninnekah. I attended Chickasha all my life and have had children in the school systems as well. My 16 year old daughter transfered out Twice due to issues with he lack of discipline of other students and a poor attitude from many of the teachers. Once in middle school and now again in high school. My son is attending Grand Elementary and is doing OK but seems to fly under the radar even though he is struggling with his math. He can go a week with out turning in homework before I even receive a notification. Sometimes longer! This school is VERY racially segregated. The black and white children do NOT seem to care for each other at all and there is usually a lot of racial tension. (Some things never change) Long story short. If it isn't a neccesity that you move here. I would avoid it.Parent Review9y ago - Chickasha Middle School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI like to school is the best school ever is big in not easy to get around in 5 minutes but the facilitesare great and I like most the teachers some of them I just can't stand especially if they do not teach anything but just take notes because you are not learning a lot with just notes you actually have to read something learn it cuz notes do not teach you everything in the chapter or section is specially if it is history and you have to take a long test at the end of the semester but B sidethat it is a great school and students friendly so this is my review I hope you like goodbyeOther Review10y ago - Lincoln Elementary School

N/AGreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis school is awesome! We love Chickasha School. We love the teachers and the principal and all the other staff there. It is clean and nice and up to date. There is nothing bad to say about this school. They truly care about your children and make it a fun place for the kids to learn. My child has learned so much since starting school here. You won't regret sending your kid here. They even have a great after school child care program.Parent Review7y ago - Check out schools near 610 S 17th St.
