4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've been involved with Capps Middle School for six years now. It's a WONDERFUL school with AMAZING teachers who really do care about our kids! Just last year the school moved into its beautiful new building, and everyone is so proud to be a part of it all. They set aside time for the day's work to be completed in school as too often kids won't get it done. Truly, if anyone has problems, discuss it with the teachers and/or the administration. They are very willing and fair -- and only want the best for our kids! YAY, CAPPS!Parent Review2y ago - Arbor Grove Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThing are changing at Arbor Grove. The school doesn't allow visitors. I feel after the school shootings this could be a good thing. The school has good and bad teachers. The school will receive a new principal for the 2022 2023 school year. With the staff change maybe the school will have a new start.Parent Review1y ago - Putnam City High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageLiterally the single worst school in Oklahoma. Big violence problem, not to mention the lack of action towards bullying and harassment. I also was unfortunately one of the students who had to endure the many problems with the bus lines and such. 3 bus routes worth of sweaty teens packed tightly into ONE bus, which made it nearly impossible to fit. Not to mention sometimes the bus just would not be there. The amount of times I had to have my mom get off of work just to pick me up is RIDICULOUS. And thanks to the school's complete disregard for mental health, I ended up almost getting hospitalized. And yes, I blame the school, because as soon as I got up and out of that hell pit, I was doing MUCH better. So here's a little bit of advice, parents: Don't let your kids go here. NO MATTER WHAT.Student Review2mo ago - Check out schools near 5846 N Central Rd.

What Locals Say about Bethany

"Dogs are for the most part welcome in the community I have three myself and my neighbor has one, they all get along rather well and play and we all look after each others dogs, they are well behaved, and friendly. Animal control has had to pick up my one of my dogs once no big deal, her nose got the best of her and she wondered off, they will place strays under a three day hold or if you’re lucky enough we have several community groups where people where hold your dog until you can claim them so you don’t have to pay the return fee from animal control. Anyways great dog friendly community."

"New library, city park, and YMCA. All are within walking distance and located next to each other! Police Station, court, and Utilities across from library & park, making it safe for kids to walk too. Best school system, separate from OKC."

"I’ve lived in Bethany my whole life. I love how quiet and unique it is. It feels very safe and the houses range from small family to some larger homes. We are located close to Lake Overholser and it lovely to walk to and down the lake walking trails. "

"Good and safe neighborhood. I have been living in the Bethany area for two years now and it has been great, stores, supermarkets and main streets really close by."

"The 1 square mile school district, in “old Bethany” is extremely popular. This drives up prices for those homes. The area between Eldon Lyon Park and Ripper park is one of the most pleasant areas to live in with nicely kept, often large properties."

"There is a park not too far away but I don't see people walking their dogs much I'm but when I do on occasion it's at the park because there's lots of sidewalk in grass nice place to walk around"
