4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThere is only one word to say about this school and it its just wow. This school is just terrible, with these new rules they have for 2022 my daughter and my son have been struggling to make sure they are not late to class or even in the morning. In the morning my kids ride the bus but whats the point if they have to wait outside for 45 minutes. Bowsher needs to get everything fixed or I'm taking my kids to Maumee.Parent Review2y ago - Burroughs Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageHorribleThe school is HORRIBLE with handling bullying, racism and more.the amount of times my children have come home telling me there were kids vaping, drinking alcohol amd having there phone out for inappropriate reasons when it’s strictly unallowed is ridiculous not to mention how they aren’t even able to were simple clothing products as in crocs? They take dress code more serious then anything.and their way of handling it is to give the child used clothes from a nurse that haven’t been cleaned in who knows amount of weeks?the food is disgusting.my son even found a fly in his “Mac and cheese” not to mention there “sides” is bread and butter.while they are expected to eat everything with chocolate milk and orange juice.torture.the amount of racist white girls that appropriate culture and are bluntly racist in that school it too much to count.yet they won’t say a word about it.but get mad because a child decided to were flip flops or shorts in the summer?my daughter shouldn’t be surrounded and made insecure by white girls in the school who were given it all.and there way of handling it is by putting the two or more in a room together to explain why they are having problems with each other as if these aren’t unreasonable children were talking about.they are going to lie and act like there ok with each other just to go outside and fight.over what?well sheesh the school wouldn’t know.cause I can bet you those cameras don’t work.even the online system was horrendous forcing them to be up and in classes at 8 as if there a model ready to represent themselves to classmates they age to be with for 9 school years?no.those children aren’t out shooting deers while their camera is off or playing fortnite. and the teachers are SO lazy with keeping their mask off as if it’s the end of the world if they pull it over their nose.they can’t even tell students to keep the mask over their noses.I really do hope there’s much more changes I really do hope they let these children breath.yes they are there to learn but atleast let them make friends for five minutes.oh and cussing?don’t get me started.I better see changes within this school next year or it’s gonna be further then a review because my children shouldn’t be coming home CRYING.Parent Review2y ago - Jones Leadership Academy

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFirst off I’m a ex student here and these people were terrible there were the teachers that never helped you there were the bad people who always started drama the ridiculous amount of homework the terrible bathrooms the very disrespectful gym teacher that is now retired so you won’t have to deal with him but he was still there the fact that sometimes there wasn’t enough food at lunch there was the kids in higher grades that treated the ones in lower grades like trash especially the 7th graders the fact that the directors never cared about your side of the story and were quick to suspend you and last but not least how they will not help you if you need it now there are some that will like the Lego teacher or the social studies teacher heck even the science teacher but sometimes the explanations would be dry don’t even get me started on the math teacher who would never help you with his outrageous amount of homework I’m talking 4 assignments a day all I’m saying is this school is terrible you can send a straight A student there and expect them to get f’s and no it’s not that the school is harder it’s that they give no explanation and lots of homework please for the mental and physical health of your child do not send them here during my time here I grew very depressed and my anxiety was just really bad there please I’m begging you. Oh and on more thing I forgot to mention was the kid who sexually assaulted people and he only got yelled at and his schedule changed while other people got kicked out the guy who literally sexually assaulted me and my friends got to stay now I’m finally done……….. now let’s talk about how dirty the school is that bugs coming out the water fountain the bugs inside the lights the roaches crawling around in bathrooms and classrooms oh right I almost forgot the rats that run around the whole building mainly in the engineering labs you know this school sucks I promise you don’t make you child suffer pleaseOther Review1y ago - Ella P. 9/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is a great school! My son graduated in 23 and is now a junior in the college of engineering. My daughter is graduating in May with an associates degree and a high school diploma and will start her third year of college in the fall. TEC prep students who will go to college to be able to excel past incoming freshman from high school, because they have prepared so well. The amount of homework they get is a lot but again it’s to help them be able to carry the load that college classes will give them. My children have excelled in their early college classes and in their college classes. My daughter maintained a 4.0 in her college classes for over two years And when my son finished high school he had over 55 credits and my daughter will finish high school with 62 credits. This is a plus for the parents whose child will go to college. It will take a large load off financially, and the students will become more able to either continue school or begin in the workforce. I read the other reviews and I still believe that this school is the best if you want your child to go to college and they want to go to college then preparing them for that for free is a blessing.Parent Review1mo ago - Martin Luther King Academy For Boys Elementary School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMLK school for boys..great school for boys...love the principal and the teachers...I love the idea "caught being good" and you get rewarded. That means they are really paying attention to the student and not just in the class room.Parent Review10y ago - Check out schools near 419 N Westwood Ave.
