7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI could just cut and past what the 1 star reviewer from July posted. Appalling. They have no consequences for the bullies and seem to not even care when parents pull their children out because they are being bullied. If your child is not cookie-cutter, forget it. They care only about test scores and looking good to the outside world. Bullying is such a problem in this school but the administration seems to have little to no interest in rectifying it. Children who have been reported numerous times for bullying and cruel behavior are still crossing-guards, cheerleaders, etc. There seem to be no consequences. Child have an IEP? Go somewhere else, not worth the fight to get what you are legally entitled to to accommodate your child. Sorry we moved here.Parent Review10y ago - Ottawa Hills High School

However, students often feel emotionally neglected, and are frequently assigned meaningless busy work. OHHS fails to teach students critical thinking skills, instead relying on constant stream of tedious assignments to artificially boost grades and teach the bare minimum necessary for high test grades. As a result, students feel disconnected from the material being taught to them; They are academically proficient only by technicality, and are never encouraged to engage and develop their understanding of the material.Other Review1y ago

"You can walk your dog there’s plenty of dog owners around. There’s a nearby park to get exercise and run around with your dog. Depending on which neighborhood people clean up after their pets. Dogs do not seem to be aggressive either. "
