5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter went to Hilltop from K-5th, til she moved up to middle school, and although we moved (10 min away) before 3rd grade, I still kept her there out of district because she loved it as much as I loved it for her. She's always been a straight A student and teachers have always been kind, and seem to enjoy their jobs (which really makes a difference). There have been a few principles during the time she was there, as they seem to change more frequently than I'd like, however I have really liked all of them! Absolute excellence when it comes to their Principles. Now my kindergarten son goes to Hilltop....yes, I like it that much that I also sent my son there out of district! There is again a new principle but he isn't new to the school as he was previously the school Counselor. Can I just say that he was beyond amazing as a counselor, but there truly couldn't be a more deserving man to fill the position as principle at Hilltop. Incredible human being and his compassion and care for the kids is incredible. If the school has room for improvement whatsoever, Mr. Kist will be the one to make it happen. My son struggles a little more Theo hand my daughter did (no fault of the schools...just 2 totally different kids of mine), but I feel like his teacher is the best fit for him, because he has come a long way already, and she is just the sweetest and most understanding person ever. I should also add, that I missed opened enrollment for my son and just days before school was due to start, I contacted the school about getting him in....which i know is and sling a lot, especially with us being out of district....and there was practically no hesitation and they found a classroom for him immediately. The way they were willing to accept him so late and welcomed him to Hilltop I felt so grateful and appreciative. I could go on for days about why I love Hilltop, so these are just a few reasons. It's a great school with great teachers and staff....right down to the janitorial staff (do they even call them that anymore? Idk, but you know what I mean).Other Review7y ago - Reading Community High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI'm delighted with the way teachers & staff members at Reading High School. My child has been at Reading Schools since 2015. My son's 2nd year at Reading school's assured me that my son was getting the proper education my son needed. The school's atmosphere is considerable. My son has had a great relationship with others students at school.Parent Review2y ago - Reading Community Middle School

"Cincinnati is cleaning it up because the gun violence in that area is bad, id there's not a shooting everyday then it's every other day. even the young teens carry and shoot people. I know the city and community is cleaning up the local area, but it is close to downtown Cincinnati, right where the best hospitals in the nation are, far enough from downtown Cincinnati to make it affordable just got to weigh in either your wallet isn't effected by mortgage or rent then your safety or life. I would never raise children in this location "

"This is an urban eclectic area. Lots of bars and restaurants on every corner. It can get very lively during warmer weather, but for the most part safe. Like in most areas like this, there is a few homeless people who's been here as long as, the residents. "
