I decided on Grizzell Middle School for my 8th grade student, and we are absolutely thrilled with the school! The teachers and administrators are so passionate about their jobs and so energized and committed to student learning, all without putting undue pressure on the students. There is lots of support available if a student needs it and there is lots of individual attention. All the 8th grade students go to Washington D.C., which is a great experience. My daughter is having her best school year ever! Also, the kids are very nice and polite. 8th grade can be a tough time to start a new school, but the students have made her feel very welcome and included. " It can be a little crazy sometimes. But it’s worth it when you’re going home to peace and quiet. I wouldn’t change it for anything I love to live in the country and work in the city. It makes it that much better. Knowing that i can go home and not worry about anything ."

"Everyone is friendly and knows your name and your and animals. We even had neighbors call us to let us know when the wind blew our front door open and are dogs got loose. We were very thankful as it would have been hours until we returned home. "
