The middle school is the reason we will not stay with Fairless school district!

Fairless has in recent years became a student tan school. I feel that teachers have lost control of classrooms and students due to no support/ backing from their superiors. This In turn Fairless has lost great educators and will continue to loss great educators. Most Students at Fairless have become more entitled and aloud to do what they feel, with no consequences. This has made an out of control environment that I feel teachers feel they are not able to do their job (educate) as they should. There are many beliefs one may have, and I feel Fairless has excused and aloud students to act/ dress how they feel. I feel Fairless needs to refocus on the purpose of school and make the environment a learning / safe ideal space. This would mean teachers regaining control of their classrooms while students understand school is for education. I feel Fairless does not properly set the kids up for reality and what life after school ultimately is. As I understand that this is the how most schools are now operating and the recommendations come from the state. This district always has a choice on how to operate. They just need to refocus. I feel if Fairless can take “politics” out of how they operate, Fairless would be a better option for education and how are children will succeed.

I have had nothing but a fantastic experience with Fairless schools. I currently have a 6th, 5th, and 3rd grader. My children have always loved school and have loved all of their teachers. All of my children had intervention at one point or another for speech or reading when they were younger. They are all doing well now while exceeding in class and getting great grades and test scores. We have to remember that teachers are only a part of our child's life....learning and behavior is ultimately the parents responsibility.
