4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have four children, my 4th grader just moved up to the Intermediate school, having attended Franklin since 2nd grade, and youngest is in Franklin's fantastic pre-k program. Everything about Franklin (aside from the school nurse) has been AWESOME. The teachers are amazing, the principal is quirky but fun and the kids love him. The gifted program is exceptional! The building itself needs work, but the curriculum and instructors are far more than I could have hoped. We moved just outside of the Franklin district into Whittier and we chose to intradistrict open enroll our children in Franklin and hopefully we'll be able to for the remainder of their elementary years.Parent Review8y ago - Washington High School

"Walk, Drive or Crawl for 4 miles to the nearest store or workplace. Of course if you want to eat outdoors then just walk next doors and grab an ear of corn right off the stalk and go sit on the bench so you will not have to commute into town that day!! Hooorrrayyy !!! Commuting is for other people who want to go feed the ducks on the pond about a mile down the road."
