7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter attended Central Elementary from first through forth grades and I am extremely disappointed with the staff there. From her first year on the school tried to get me to have my daughter assessed for ADHD and have her put on medication. My daughter is in fifth grade now in a different and much better school district getting A's and B's with no behavioral issues. At one point during a meeting with the school staff a substitute teacher started having a meltdown telling me that my daughter had a chemical imbalance and needed to be on medications. This substitute teacher was turning red as her voice was shaking and I could see her visibly escalating while she was describing how my child was out of control. I don't think that it was my daughter that needed the assessment. The principal at Central seems to be pretty decent until there is an issue of any kind and her first response is to lock horns with you, She then shows her true colors and no longer has the facade of decency. Any time I had to talk with her she always managed to make matters worse than better.Lexington school district is in my opinion nothing more than an image that they are having a very hard time maintaining.People in this community are so completely full of themselves that they cannot see how really screwed up it is.I love my child and she no longer goes to Lexington schools.Parent Review5y ago - Eastern Elementary School

8/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageWe are an active duty family. before arriving we found it hard to get info or reviews (so here’s my honest review). I feel like we struck gold! Our son is going on his third year at eastern Elementry. I love how the teachers and staff are all on top of what is happening and how to help if help is ever needed.Parent Review1y ago - Lexington High School

7/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageFamily lived here for one year and was happy we transferred. Overpaid for our house, and had a terrible time trying to sell.(for a loss). My kids said they just didn't fit in at school and were made to feel like outsiders.Parent Review9y ago - Check out schools near 751 Vicksburg Dr.
