"My home is only three blocks from downtown Lakewood. Mars Avenue has a street club and the neighbors keep each other updated on local events and news. Also, the street club hosts an annual summer block party sponsored by our local bars and restaurants which is a blast. Acclaimed local restaurants (such as Melt, Humble, Souper Market, Barroco, Deagan's), the new two-story library, groceries, and a dozen other specialty stores are all within three blocks. Downtown Lakewood is an 8-minute walk where you can attend the Lakewood Arts Festival, summer parades, home days, the holidays Light up Lakewood, concerts, car shows, and tons more! I-90 is only 0.8 miles away, I-71 is 3.1 miles away, and you can't see or hear their traffic from the house or yard. Also, downtown Cleveland's Tower City Shopping Center is only a 15-minute drive along the lake via Route 2 as well as Edgewater Beach, Lakewood Pool and Park, and Whiskey Island Park!"
