4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAs a former student of Rushmore Elementary (in the past decade) I sincerely believe this school would not be a good choice to send your children to. When I was there we had 4 principles in 6 years, constant understaffment due to teachers quitting, and (from my experience going there during COVID) extremely lazy and uncaring teachers. Also in the past 2 years my autistic sibling was sent to that school (for under a year) and she immediately started acting meaner and more aggressive due to the other students in the room with her (there were less than 5 students in that room and 3 or more teachers at a time). After a little under a year my parents took her out of that school and sent her to another Huber school in the meantime (Charles Huber) and we have recently come to find out Rushmore hasn't had a certified special needs instructor in over 2 YEARS. This just goes to show how little Rushmore actually tries to save money and provide needed services for there student's. This is only instance of MANY that I have witnessed not just only Rushmore but many other Huber Schools being managed poorly and affecting the students learning and services. This is not a school I would EVER recommend sending your children to.Other Review5mo ago - Wayne High School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageGreat students, respectful and eager to learn. Teaching staff is very helpful as well as office staff, to me as a first year teacher. Starting my second year now. About 2% of the student population does not want to learn, attend class, or take tests. Don’t let that discourage you. We will bend over backwards for those students as we have other options for them. Remember, if you see something say something. Great things are happening at Wayne. I will ask, please allow the property tax mill to pass next time. If just the parents of the current Wayne students voted Yes, it will pass. I think it’s been about 20 years since Huber Heights has passed a MIL for the school district.Teacher Review9mo ago - Weisenborn Middle School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is an excellent school for all abilities. I have a child with disabilities and children without, they have benefited from attending this school. The school staff is very caring and professional. The course options are great! Mrs. Anstaett is a wonderful Intervention Specialist and my son loves going to her classes.Parent Review2y ago - Check out schools near 8275 Mount Carmel St.
