3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThe Elyria City Schools offers a wide range of classes for general education as well as many Honors and AP options and dual enrollment classes. They have over 60 clubs that all students are welcome to join. Their band, drama, and other arts programs are second to none. They send children to the top universities in the country. There was a student a few years ago that was chosen to go to Sweden to work on the CERN Large Hadron Collider. He was one of only ten college students chosen throughout the country and he credits his Science teacher at Elyria High for sparking his interest in Physics. More than one student has come back to teach at Elyria High due to the influence of their teachers. There are an impressive number of students graduating with Top Honors and millions of dollars are awarded every year for scholarships. They have a 90% graduation rate which is practically unheard of in an urban district. If you want your child learning in a diverse environment with many opportunities and taught by an outstanding, highly qualified staff in a new state of the art building I would highly recommend Elyria High School.Parent Review7y ago - Prospect Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMost importantly, I am so impressed with the teachers. All of them are so positive and energetic for my kids to learn. They've actually taken ownership of my kids education and take time to personally invest in each one of my kids. My eyes were filled with tear of joy after my first parent teacher conference. Their teachers actually really cared what my kids were doing and how they were performing. Most importantly they were finally performing fantastically :) Furthermore, the students at the school are also great. Even though my kids are new to the school, the current students there have all been very kind to my kids. No one has picked on them or bullied them. Everyone seems to get along great. The school s PTO also arranges some very nice events such as movie nights and student dances. All of which were well-organized and very pleasant to attend. In all, as a parent, I am very pleased with this school and I would highly recommend it to everyone. Prospect Elementary School is truly a superb school with a magnificent staff and wonderful students :)Parent Review10y ago - Check out schools near 105 Fallen Oak Ln.

"We've lived here for 32 years and seen children grow and leave so the neighborhood now is quiet. Everyone is very friendly and yes, people walk their dogs at night. The street is about 3 minutes to the community college and close to the highway to Cleveland, about 25 minutes away. We love our neighborhood so much we recently bought a ranch home up the street."
