The staff and teachers are amazing. Mr. Woodworth is an excellent principal and truly tries to help with any issues and if not he gets you in contact with who can help. All of my child’s have been excellent. My child is above average in multiple subjects and her teachers have gone the extra mile to make sure she’s progressing at her level and not getting bored with the general subject that the class as a whole is working on. Teachers have all had excellent communication. The staff also handled Covid and homeschool fantastically as well for how rough of a situation that was. My other child starts kindergarten next year and I’m excited for her to learn and grow in a positive environment.

My daughter's experience in Delaware City Schools has been positive (5th grade to senior year). In fact, it's the primary reason I've stayed in the area and ultimately, it's the reason I'm opting to purchase a home in the area. I feel she has been supported in her extracurricular pursuits and has had plenty of options for dual enrollment at the high school. There are a couple of FANTASTIC guidance counselors going above and beyond at the high school. Unfortunately, there are couple of very lackluster, lazy teachers and I don't always feel administration does enough to address parent complaints about them (then again, having worked as a high school teacher, I know that admins' options can be constrained by union regulations and change can be slow in that regard).

Literally so much bullying and people fighting and nobody likes this school teachers are picking favorites and they will get mad and they have no digital experience besides the younger teachers but 6/4 on top
