5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy experience with Clara Westropp has been entirely positive. My child has special needs that are very well understood and accommodated in her class, and every teacher, therapist, and aide we've worked with has been lovely. There are many opportunities for us to attend events, field trips, etc. to be a real part of our child's education. We plan to continue sending our child to this school for the foreseeable future.Parent Review1y ago - Clark School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis School has too many problems! Fights breaking out and teachers getting assaulted and only giving a 2 day suspension, kids just seem to roam around the halls and teachers do nothing about it when these kids should be in class! The foul language I hear coming out of some of the students as young as 2nd grade in front of teachers and nothing gets said about it! Always seeing masks thrown all over school property instead of disposing properly! Forcing kids to wear masks that are proven to not work at all which is borderline child abuse and it's making my child develop headaches regularly! Trash overflowing the dumpsters! This is just what I see on a daily basis! There have been a few times my child didn't come to school and purposely didn't call to see if I got a call notifying me of his absence and to no surprise I never received calls to let me know! It's pretty scary to know this because if a child were to get kidnapped the parents wouldn't know until their kid doesn't come home! You are failing our kids and us parents by the way you run the school and do nothing to improve this school! To consider this school a "Great" school is laughable because it's anything but great! In fact it's a disappointment at best!Parent Review2y ago - Oliver H Perry Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI am surprised the physical building is still standing. It is old and depressing to see. There is no hospitality when you approach the building other than a bunch of cars in a lot. The classrooms are very dull and boring. There is no cheerfuls colors. Hallways are dark and drab.Teacher Review3y ago - Walton School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageMy daughter has been here since kindergarten. I’ve lived in the area her whole life so it’s been convenient. I’ve never had any problems with the school. Whenever there was a problem I’ve been contracted. The only negative I would say is that in the morning, they take too long letting students on and there’s been times that I’ve sat there until about 9:30 am and some students are just being let in which means breakfast is a no go. My daughter has told me that there’s been times that she wasn’t able to eat because of being let in late. I called once to say something but they assured me that students at least got something cold to eat. Not a fan of that but other than that it’s been a nice time for my daughter there. The only suggestion I have these days to to make sure security is screening visitors because they aren’t always there through out the day. I’ve been buzzed in and was able to go straight in before and the safety of our kids could be An issue if it’s that easy.Parent Review1y ago - Joseph M Gallagher School
