3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have been attending this school for 5 years and since I have been here, the school has made a lot of improvements. The band especially. Our extra curricular activities are very family-like and make it much easier to find friends and teachers to get along with. Teachers are very open and friendly, making it easier to study and work with them. They are also willing to make adjustments based on the overall participation and interest of the students. We have programs such as Dater Cares which allows students to volunteer and help their community. I think that the school may be hard to warm up to at first but once you become familiar with the environment, it can be a great experience as long as you put forth the effort and determination.Student Review6y ago - Hartwell Elementary School

4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageThis is not a school I would recommend. The staff always has an attitude toward the children before they have an attitude toward them. The majority of the employees are unprofessional. Also, when a teacher is out, the school doesn't get an actual substitute teacher they get just a person who works at the school to substitute. In addition, I don't learn anything at that school. Most things, such as grammar, most math, reading, and reading comprehension, I taught myself. They have no control over their children, who go through the halls cursing, vandalizing the school, and using v*pes in the restroom. Only about 10 out of over 100 seventh and eighth-grader do their work, and only about 20 students don't have an F in those grades. There have also been a lot of physical fights this year. 3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAt Hughes stem high school, All the kids are extremely depressed at this school. Half of the teachers do not care about the students. They don't even really teach they just give them something and expect them to know it. I really do not feel like my kid is learning or achieving anything in this school. The principal accepted to many kids and now some of the other kids cannot go to the pathway they wanted to go too. The yonder pouches are outrageous. I need to contact my kid sometimes and I cannot contact them because of the pouches, and I do not want the office to know my personal information. A lot of the kids steal, and someone stole my kids Bus card, Headphones, and Binder. My kid told me that they are even banned from the target because they stole over 10k worth of stuff. The school is dirty it has roaches and rats, I see dirt and dust everywhere, I feel as if my child is not safe here.Parent Review4mo ago

"Jadwin is a beautifully maintained, quiet street with long-term residents who invest a lot into their properties. Singles, Couples with no children, families and retirees make up this neighborhood. The location is perfect for getting around Cincinnati. It is very quick access to 75, North, South, East and West side of the city. With a neighborhood school 2 blocks away that ranks Excellent on the Ohio State Report Card you are confident your child is getting a good education. There are many opportunities for walks across the street in Wyoming or St Claire's convent. Across Galbraith are ball diamonds, Drake hospital and a community center with swimming pool and playground. Walgreens, CVS and Krogers within walking distance is an added plus. A very affordable and wonderful living area."
