3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI have been attending this school for 5 years and since I have been here, the school has made a lot of improvements. The band especially. Our extra curricular activities are very family-like and make it much easier to find friends and teachers to get along with. Teachers are very open and friendly, making it easier to study and work with them. They are also willing to make adjustments based on the overall participation and interest of the students. We have programs such as Dater Cares which allows students to volunteer and help their community. I think that the school may be hard to warm up to at first but once you become familiar with the environment, it can be a great experience as long as you put forth the effort and determination.Student Review6y ago - Shroder Paideia High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageShroder is not a good school because they pretty much worry about the uniforms instead of our grades. Teacher doesn't really don't help student like they should.Other Review10y ago - William H Taft Elementary School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI love this school, the teachers, and administration. They nurture children. You can tell that the students are a priority for them and I appreciate that in this crazy world. My son's speech and comprehension improved tremendously. His self-esteem has increased tremendously. I do not have any fear when dropping my child off to school as I know he will be well taken care of.Parent Review1y ago - Walnut Hills High School

2/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageIn my 4 years at Western Hills University High School (9-12), the experience was horrible. I've never experienced a school as bad as this. The students are wild, and the staff make no effort of trying to change them. I do not take pride in the fact that I attended and graduated from this school.Student Review5y ago - Withrow University High School

5/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageConsider a private school if it all possible. This school is in a steady and serious decline as indicated by the various metrics found here. The school is more interested in uber left, woke culture indoctrination than it is in education. Walnut (maybe) or private school is your only hope in Cincinnati.Parent Review3y ago - Woodward Career Technical High School

3/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageAt Hughes stem high school, All the kids are extremely depressed at this school. Half of the teachers do not care about the students. They don't even really teach they just give them something and expect them to know it. I really do not feel like my kid is learning or achieving anything in this school. The principal accepted to many kids and now some of the other kids cannot go to the pathway they wanted to go too. The yonder pouches are outrageous. I need to contact my kid sometimes and I cannot contact them because of the pouches, and I do not want the office to know my personal information. A lot of the kids steal, and someone stole my kids Bus card, Headphones, and Binder. My kid told me that they are even banned from the target because they stole over 10k worth of stuff. The school is dirty it has roaches and rats, I see dirt and dust everywhere, I feel as if my child is not safe here.Parent Review4mo ago - Check out schools near 2513 Ravine St.

"I live in a nursing home in Çlifton now. I grew up in Clifton. The university of Cincinnati is in Clifton. I have gone to the basket ball and football games. That is whàt Clifton is about. That is what makes the neighbor is about "

"There’s a great big park with A wonderful view of the city. However it is by busy streets where cars drive very quickly so caution is required when walking dogs"

"College environment you will have very loud neighbors not a great environment for young kids not very kid friendly "
- Jareddstephens

"I use the bus everyday and I take the 17 to downtown and it’s a 7 minute bus ride. Sometimes the bus will miss you if you are not clearly in view of the street. "

"Our neighborhood parks are stocked with mutt mitts which most people use. We really could use a dedicated dig park."
- Carolinesueyoung

"My neighborhood has halfway decent access to public transportation. I only live 1.5 miles from Downtown. The street car phase 1 should have been started in CUF & Clifton, at the University of Cincinnati and then extended North to the Zoo on one end and South to Downtown on the other."
- McKenzie H.

"This is a great area for college students, not really families. There aren't many grocery stores nearby. Public transit is not dependable. Apartments are not well kept. Very little parking. "
- Jay J.
- Resident

"Eclectic .this street is a edge street between the college and more prominent residence of CINCINNATI. So you get a quick street with access to a lot of food for the college students. Great place to live"
- Kaytee H.

"Younger families are starting to move to our neighborhood. Kids are regularly playing outside/riding bikes around the block."

"UC games, bats, Greek life, sort walking distance, restaurants, live music Venus, on campus activities, parties. "
- Lienesjm

"There’s lots of college students here. The neighborhood has a lot of energy due to all the partying going on. Every time I walk around the hood at night I either see or can hear some time of party happening"
- Adrienne P.
- Resident

"It’s close enough to the UC campus to be super convenient, but also removed enough to feel a little independent! Definitely a lot of noise, though. Close to frats and party houses."
- Cjames96 u.
- Resident
- 5y ago
"This neighborhood is full of college students. It's nice to see young people around, but that also means loud parties late at night, vomit on the grass, uncurbed dogs, and broken bottles constantly. Truthfully, if I wasn't a student at the University, I wouldn't be living in this area. Only 317 days till I can move out..."
