4/10GreatSchools RatingParent Rating AverageI've been a student here for two years and both years have been the equivalent of hell on earth with admins, none of them care and are willing to throw teachers AND students under the bus to seem as innocent as possible. Several admins have been unwelcoming, and even rude to me and my friends for simply dealing with mental health issues such as anxiety, had admins brag about suspending people, and an admin say that if I didn't have anything she'd find something. Not to mention the insane amount of blame that this school puts on students for things they could've helped with. When my son broke his arm at the school, they told my 8y/o son not to cry and sent him back to class. "You see neighbors walking their dogs all the time. They make sure dogs are not going in other neighbors yards. They carry disposable bags with them as well. All friendly dogs are in theneighborhood. "

"If you leave before 7:30 am there is rarely any traffic. Lately there has been a lot of construction on market street. Ohio always has potholes. But compared to other cities, it’s a breeze. "

"We have raised our children here, where they received great educations in our city schools and have had many happy years in our home. At least 6 of our neighbors have been here just as long as we have. It's so convenient to everything and now Hardesty park has a walking path too. There are Monday night concerts in Hardesty park as well in the summer and it's just two blocks away. It's a wonderful neighborhood that is just as nice now as it was in 1985 when we first moved here. I have loved living here. Schools, stores, restaurants, public transportation and even upscale coffee shops are within blocks of my home....awesome place to live"

"We have lived here for 18 years and the the neighborhood is convenient, safe and involved. You can walk to most anything you need (coffee shops, ice cream, dry cleaners, restaurants, grocery stores, paint store and a great park). The neighbors are friendly and we have great block parties and light up the streets at Christmas with luminaries, parades at 4th of July and fun Halloweens. It's a great little part of Akron that has stood the test of time. "
